Cragonos Cliffs serve as the checkpoint of Mt. Cragonos and separate Cragonos Mines into lower and upper sections. Situated on the western mountainside of Mt. Cragonos, the area seems to be very steep and narrow, but is still wide enough for a Pokémon Centre to be built on there, allowing players to heal their Pokémon, as well as to restock on medicine and other items.

Notable Event[]

Catching Shaymin[]

VS Shaymin

Land Form Shaymin waiting for the player on the isolated flower pillar.

Across the bridge, accessible by the path below, there is a pillar with colourful flowers left solitary upon. If the player has the Gracidea Flower in his or her bag, then he or she can find Mythical Pokémon Shaymin waiting on the pillar. The player only has 1 chance to catch Shaymin, so save beforehand and turn off Autosave. Gracidea can be obtained by completing a side quest given by a girl in the greenhouse on Route 9.

Pokémon[]

Wild Pokémon[]

Note: Rarity levels are estimations according to this scale and might be subject to changes due to different encounter assessment results, unless supported by official encounter rates, which are listed in red under the rarity level if known. If there are any Pokémon with low catch rates, the possibility to flee or requirement of gaining happiness to evolve, recommended Poké Balls for that Pokémon will be shown with the corresponding bag sprite under the Pokémon's name.

Trivia[]

  • Hiker Jackson is currently one of the two best places to train for Physical Defense, with his Geodude evolution family giving a total of 6 Defense Effort Values, tying with Hiker Anson on Route 8.
    • It is recommended that the player bring a Pokémon with multi-hit Moves, such as Bullet Seed, or a Pokémon with the Ability Mold Breaker in order to get past Sturdy — the primary Ability of his Pokémon.
    • Players should also be wary of the extremely powerful attack Self-Destruct. Bring a Pokémon with the ability Damp so the attack is neutralized.
  • The Pokémon Centre here is the only one so far in Roria to be built outside of cities and towns.
