Silver Cove is a cave that can be accessed by using HM3 Surf on Rosecove Beach. There are no regular Wild Pokémon to encounter here. Glowing blue and silver crystals are scattered on the rocky cave walls. A big waterfall arc is found deep inside this cove. It is rumoured that after acquiring a specific Key Item, a certain Legendary Pokémon will emerge from the great waterfall.
Notable Events[]
Catching Lugia[]
In the furthest part of Silver Cove, a huge waterfall arc can be seen with a pedestal above a staircase. The pedestal has a blue and white star on it. Before the encounter can be triggered, a side quest which involves catching the Legendary Birds from 3 outlying islands must be completed. After the player has caught all 3 Legendary Birds and put them in his or her party, a man behind the Squirtle Fountain at Cheshma Town will give his treasure — Silver Wing, to the player, hoping he or she can solve the mystery connecting Legendary Birds to it.
Once the Silver Wing is acquired, return to the waterfall arc and ascend the pedestal. The Silver Wing suddenly starts glowing, and a violent waterspout rapidly forms in front of the great waterfall, with a Pokémon emerging from it, revealing itself to be Legendary Pokémon Lugia! The player only has 1 chance to catch Lugia, so save beforehand and turn off Autosave. Be warned that Lugia is very difficult to catch and all of its default moves only have 5 Power Points — the player is advised to buy a surplus of Dusk Balls from Poké Ball Emporium first and catch Lugia quickly before it succumbs to the desperation attack Struggle.

Trivia[]
- The big waterfall closely resembles the one in the deepest cave of Whirl Islands, Johto. The Key Items Silver Wing and Tidal Bell were required to access that section and trigger the encounter against Lugia in Pokémon Soul Silver.
- The background music is a remix theme made by famous music remix creator GlitchxCity to the flute that was played for reviving Lugia in Pokémon the Movie 2000: The Power of One.
